I've just posted this tiny piece of artwork (5" x 5") to Minnesota, to a conservation site which is "protecting the Sax-Zim bog for future generations of birds and birders."
It sounds amazing and 'reet up my street' with my love of owls. I called him 'Eh Up', that being a Yorkshire dialect greeting for HELLO.
At the end of January 2020 they're holding a gala dinner and silent auction of pieces of artwork, to raise funds for their conservation work.
'Eh Up' is made by wet and needle-felting, and he's on a batik background.
