Isolation Creation update

It's now the end of week five and I've finished the nine panels. I now have to decide which side of the door I want to use - white or green. No rush - I can't buy paint at the moment to complete the restoration!

Following on from my last post, the frog is now mounted and framed.

The "Isolation Creation" is making progress too, with only one panel left to make and then all nine panels to grout

Isolation Creation

It's two months since my last post, which doesn't mean I haven't been creating. We're now into week three of lock down but fortunately I had already received an old half door with nine glass panels, and I had in my head my next big mosaic project. 

I've personalized a garden scene  ... iris and poppies (my favourite flowers), a Robin (my grandson) and our garden pond with goldfish, frogs and dragonflies.

Luckily we can still order online, so the postman keeps arriving with deliveries of mosaic tiles - and I'd already bought the MDF before B and Q had to close. 

The ongoing title seems obvious - ISOLATION CREATION - maybe when it's all over I'll think of another!

 Below is progress so far. 

 I did a prototype of the first panel, to make sure it would fit. This one is grouted, and is ready for mounting and framing.
