Hand painted silk iris picture

This is a new painting of irises - hand painted on silk. The finished silk has been stretched over board, with a beige and green double mount. The iris are shades of pink and purple, and the background is lime green.

The photos show various stages from my design drawn onto freezer paper, to the unmounted but finished work. The close-up photos show the effect of adding salt to wet silk paint.

This is currently for sale as a mounted but not framed piece of work for £30 plus £6 postage to UK mainland.

Adding the frame would cost an additional £50, plus extra postage.

Special occasion cards

In response to a request about a Golden Wedding card, I experimented with interlocking hearts and quilling on an A5 sized card. Because of lock-down, and the fact that I don't have a variety of quilling colours in stock, I used acrylic paint to achieve the gold and silver hearts. The blue butterflies are printed, using a 

hand made "funky foam" shape stuck onto a card backing. The messages are attached with foam sticky pads. 
Similar cards would be £10 each, post free.
