A Buzzing and Blooming garden

 

This is a mosaic that I "finished" and had framed last year, but I always had it in my mind to add something to the bottom. Initially it was to be a half china bowl which would house a plant, but the dimentions didn't quite work out. Then - eureka - I already had an MDF butterfly shape which I've added, leaving a small gap between it and the mosaic flowers. 

I love the vibrancy - or is it BLING!! - of the finished picture.

Mosaic itself 18.5"/47cm x 9"/23cm, plus the overhang of the butterfly.
