Painted Boot Planter

 

 

I've based this design on some cartoon sketches I'd done, as I wanted to try out my new POSCA pens.

I've named the boot "Tom and Gerry" (- as opposed to "Jerry", so it doesn't look like I'm imitating the cartoon programme). I painted the boot with gesso, and then the design is a mixture of acrylic paint and POSCA pens.

The boot is 12" long, 8" high, weight 739g, UK size 11. Maker: brasher.

There are no drainage holes, but the boot will fit a 4" plant saucer.
