These are my latest 6 "handy hooks", which have been made by recycling other items.

Elephant in the Room mosaic, hooks and letter rack

 

 

  For this latest addition to the “Handy Hooks” creations, I bought a pre-cut MDF elephant shape, to which I’ve added and grouted coloured mosaic craft tiles. There are 2 drilled holes, so it can be screwed directly to a wall (screws and rawl plugs included), or it can be hung like a picture as shown in the photos.

The letter rack was rescued from a charity shop, and it has been screwed onto the MDF.
I’ve called this elephant artwork “Elephant in the Room”. 

 Approximate measurements:

Letter rack 20cm x 7.5cm x 12cm. Shaped dividers. Elephant and leaf gold coloured motif, on varnished wood.
2 silver coloured coat hooks, screwed on, with a small piece of material added at the back to protect from the screw tips.
MDF elephant 35cm x 26 cm.
Total depth 9cm; total weight 1167g

A Herd of Elephants

There are now three elephant friends – a tote bag, “Elephant in the Room” with a letter rack and hooks, and Nellie with hooks.

When I’ve finished my current projects, I’m going to do a batik safari scene with elephants and giraffes. But maybe someone would like to buy this group of three now for 20% discount, with free post?
