Last year we were so lucky to go on safari in Kenya and Tanzania, and we saw lots of these amazing animals - really close to our vehicle. This is my first giraffe mosaic - previously I've sketched them, made giraffe greetings cards, sewn giraffe cushions and created giraffes in batik. I'm inspired to do more in this medium in the future.
