Felting - shibori sheep

After learning a new technique on a "shibori" felt workshop, I've been practising. The end result is now 6" x 4", ready for the postcard exhibition at Woodend, Scarborough (August and September). Below are the stages, from dyed merino tops , next showing the process of stitching and tying the wet felt, to finally removing the stitching, and needle felting the details like face, ears and legs.
