Puffin Welly

I buy pre-loved wellingtons from the charity shops and create unique planters from them. Sometimes I drill the soles, so they can be filled with gravel and soil for plants; other times I use them indoors for a plant pot.

This welly was a donation from a villager, who couldn’t take her 2 pairs of HUNTERS wellies to Australia. I hope she is delighted with the result – a kingfisher welly is also finished and there will be 2 more unique painted wellies to follow!

This one isn’t drilled but I haven’t checked to see if it is watertight! However, it has been varnished (yacht varnish), so it could be used outside.
