Scary Cat Welly

This welly has been painted in acrylics and the detail is with POSCA pens. It has been varnished for protection if it goes outside.

For Sale: £20 free postage to UK.

Below are photos of my painted wellies and boots ready for Ayton Gala on Saturday June 9th.

3D Greetings Cards

A year or so ago, I made some decoupage 3D cards using poppy and owl napkins. Last week I bought butterfly and bee napkins, so here's another set of cards ... plus for a child, there's one on a circus theme. Each card is blank for your own message, and has an envelope and plastic pouch.

Set of 6 cards: £12, free UK post.

Puffin Mosaic Splashback

This is a prototype mosaic on MDF, to see how it would work as a partly recessed splash-back. I'm now working on the real thing, just tweaking the design to avoid the puffins being hidden by a central tap!

This is for sale as an unframed picture for £40.

Please email me (margaret@wool-n-art.co.uk) for more information.

Bunting - Raspberry Pink

This is a commission length (28 pennants, approx. 5m, £20)

Please email margaret@wool-n-art.co.uk if you would like something similar, or to discuss colours.

Painted Boot Planter

I've based this design on some cartoon sketches I'd done, as I wanted to try out my new POSCA pens.

I've named the boot "Tom and Gerry" (- as opposed to "Jerry", so it doesn't look like I'm imitating the cartoon programme). I painted the boot with gesso, and then the design is a mixture of acrylic paint and POSCA pens.

The boot is 12" long, 8" high, weight 739g, UK size 11. Maker: brasher.

There are no drainage holes, but the boot will fit a 4" plant saucer.

For sale without the plant £25, UK post free.

Below are my original sketches; for the other boot (or for a welly), I'm going to start with the angry cat sketch.

Bee "Handy Hooks" mosaics

FOR SALE: £25 free UK post.

The board is 24cm diameter. It hangs by a picture cord across the back, plus I'm including rawl plugs and screws in case you wish to make it a permanent fixture.

... and another! ...

£20 free UK post

The board is 17.5cm wide and 28cm total length. It hangs by a macrame hook at the top.

These two mosaics each have a metal BEE hook (bought in Dunelm) for storing keys or hanging up a coat, apron, etc.

I used a jig-saw to saw the bee shapes from MDF, and added mosaic tiles, before gluing them to new wooden boards.

Giraffe mosaic with hooks

I used a jigsaw for the giraffe outline, completing it with craft mosaic tiles. I bought a chopping board and a pair of bronze coloured giraffe head hooks - and assembled them as a picture for key storage etc. The latest in my "handy hooks" theme.

Owls next!
